Happy February, beloved friend and co-worker in the cause of Christ,
May we hear from you this month as we look prayerfully ahead? The OFRH Board is preparing to meet together to spend some concentrated time in prayer – both to thank our Lord for His faithfulness during 2019 and to seek His direction for 2020. Looking back over this past year, there were a number of seasons of discouragement as we had to cease broadcasting on several powerful metropolitan radio stations due to a lack of adequate response from listeners in those areas. We are nevertheless grateful that (having made those major changes) we were finally able to close 2019 in the black. Your encouragement and continued support will mean so much to each of us on the Board who gladly serve without pay because of God’s calling.
If the Lord wants us to continue to forge ahead on a smaller scale than in the past, we shall joyfully do so. One of the numbers the quartet sings is “Where He Leads I’ll Follow.” And that is our desire for OFRH. That song, along with 14 others, is on the CD we’re featuring this month. The CD title is “Lead Me Gently Home” and the cost is just $16.50 which includes shipping. However, if you’re able to send a gift over and above the purchase price, it will be ever so helpful and greatly appreciated.
Coming up in February, Dr. Fuller takes us on to several topics from the Gospel of Luke. May you and I together worship in song along with the OFRH chorus choir and quartet, and may our souls be fed and revived throughout the weeks ahead.
Awhile back a lady in Idaho wrote: “I wish my gift could be larger. I am so thankful for the hard work, passion for souls, and sound teaching of God’s Word. Every Sunday night as the day is ended, I sit back and listen to the OFRH to crown the ending of another Lord’s day in joy and hope. May God bless your ministry.”
Joyfully in His service,
Michael Khanchalian, D.D.S.
