Precious OFRH Friend,
It is so good and so refreshing to remember in times like these what your loving Lord thinks about you and how much He cares about you. As Dr. Fuller continues in the Book of Titus during the month of February, he will wind it up with a question: “Whose Child Are You?” Titus 3:3 describes the dreadful condition of every one of us when we were non-believers. However, the remainder of the Book of Titus then gives us a glorious reminder of the unmerited favor of God which has been lavished on us because of Jesus. I have to keep soaking in this daily – in contrast to other daily news that comes to my attention – slowly absorbing each thought until they sink afresh into my amazed awareness.
How about you? “He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we have done, but because of His own compassion and mercy, by the cleansing of the new birth (spiritual transformation, regeneration) and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out richly upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that we would be justified [made free of the guilt of sin] by His [compassionate, undeserved] grace, and that we would be [acknowledged as acceptable to Him and] made heirs of eternal life [actually experiencing it] according to our hope (His guarantee)” – Titus 3:5-7 Amplified.
I pray your spirit will be refreshed this month as you therefore cannot help but refresh the many parched souls all around you. We were refreshed last month by a phone message from a dear blind listener. She said that years ago she passionately cried out to God, “If only I could see!” In response, God reminded her of His words to Moses in Exodus 4:11, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord?” She was impressed that God had made her exactly as He needed her to be. She also shared how the song God Leads His Dear Children Along brought tears to her eyes – that He truly knows what we need “through the night season and all the day long.”
So, because it’s one of the 24 instrumentals on our Rudy Atwood and the Ralph Carmichael String Quartet album, this month we’re featuring that hour-long CD for your spiritual refreshment. The price is just $16.50 which includes shipping. (Californians need to add $1.50 for tax.) And if you’re able to add a gift for the OFRH ministry, it would be greatly appreciated!
Refreshed by God’s promises and by your friendship,
Michael Khanchalian, D.D.S.
