Beloved OFRH Family,
May God’s grace and peace abound to you in this new year.
Last month, followers around the world rejoiced in God coming to earth in human form – “…they shall call His name Immanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us” (Matthew 1:23). It was because of His great love for you and for me that Jesus left His glorious position at the right hand of the Father – our holy and loving Father who greatly desires relationship with us.
During January Dr. Fuller continues teaching from the Gospel of John about that relationship – with special focus on these statements of Jesus: “I am the Bread of Life. The one who comes to Me will never be hungry, and the one who believes in Me [as Savior] will never be thirsty.”
And again: “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink! He who believes in Me [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Me], as the Scripture has said, ‘From his innermost being will flow continually rivers of living water’ “ (John 6:35 and 7:37-38 Amplified Version).
I truly hope, dear one, that you are feasting on the Bread of Life and that the Living Water is flowing in your life and experience. If, however, you feel that the release by the Holy Spirit of the abundant supply is somehow clogged or impeded and that your appetite for the Bread of Life has lessened, please let us know how we may pray for you. And when you write or call, you might want to request that we send a free copy of “My Heart, Christ’s Home.” This little booklet may help to refresh your hunger and thirst for Jesus by identifying which “room” in your heart needs restoration.
Music may also help to enrich the joy of a believer’s relationship with Jesus. That’s why music is such a large part of the OFRH ministry. So we’re beginning this new year by featuring “Gospel Favorites, Volume 1.” This CD has 22 songs, alternating between numbers by the choir and those by the quartet. The cost is just $16.50 which includes shipping. Californians, however, need to add $1.50 tax.
As this letter is being typed, we received a message via our website from a gentleman who shared some of his memories from years ago. The music by the OFRH choir was especially meaningful to him, and he is being blessed now by our re-broadcasts. Comments like his are a real encouragement to us.
Again, let me say: May God’s grace and peace abound to you in this new year!
Michael Khanchalian, D.D.S.
